What is your favorite part about volunteering? My favorite part of being a volunteer is getting to help with the awesome projects. Even over Zoom, the art projects we do are fun and worth-while. Horizons is such an important part of my summer, and now school year as well, so seeing everyone engaged is rewarding.
What is one thing you are looking forward to next year? What is one thing you are looking forward to next year? I am looking forward to potentially seeing everyone in person. Being together as a community is such a big part of Horizons, so I am excited for this summer.
What tips do you have for students that are navigating school during this Pandemic? What tips do you have for students that are navigating school during this Pandemic? Something that really helped me this school year was going outside everyday. Even if this is for 5 minutes, taking time for yourself definitely helps with virtual school.
